I look forward to sharing the knowledge and skills that I have acquired in the 23 plus years of being in the customer service and power sports industries, this is how I got that experience.
Before graduating from college from Illinois state university I had been working in the automotive and power sports industry as apprentice mechanic. During that time I was factory trained by Yamaha,Suzuki,Kawasaki and Ford motor co. As an intern I worked as a service writer with three different Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers eventually working my way to the service manager position.
In the late 90's I took a position as service manager for the largest power sports dealers in the Midwest offering Suzuki, Kawasaki,Yamaha,Honda,Polaris,Artic cat and Bombardier. That was an invaluable experience and one that I can and do reference on a daily basis to help reach my goal of satisfying each and every one of my customers today.
After a nice career there I decided to start my own business and purchased a Matco tools franchise. For almost ten years I was able to use this experience to absolutely fine tune my customer service skills as this is a very service oriented business in which the franchise owner (me) is held highly accountable for the satisfaction of each customer.
When it came time to sell that business and move to south Florida I went to work as a service manager at a local Kawasaki dealer in Jupiter. Within a year I went from service manager to general manager to partner.
Me doing what I love to do... racing motorcycles!
Unfortunately the economy would not support that type of overhead at that time so we had to move on. Once again I gained valuable experience durning that time and can honestly say I have learned as much managing a failing business as I did in managing successful ones, all of which I am still using today to run my business.
As an active member of south Florida ABAT and a 19 year member of the AMA I am a rider and enthusiast as well. I am still actively riding and racing motocross at the local level and have enjoyed a twenty plus year amateur racing career in motocross that reaches all across the country.
So there it is,that is who I am and how I got here, please allow me to use what I have learned over this vast many years to help you with all of your Japanese motorcycle repair needs.
